My Understanding of Multimedia

Multimedia is the use of a computer to present and combine text, graphics, audio, and video with links and tools that let the user navigate, interact, create, and communicate. 

It is a complete tool to express our ideas and thoughts to someone in a better way. The major role of multimedia is a digital invention of equipment like cameras and high definition televisions, computers.

Multimedia has become an enormous strength in today’s world of technology. The influence of multimedia can see in every aspect of human life.

Multimedia applications play a crucial role in education. They take the method of teaching and studying to the next level. Many schools are encouraging teachers to use multimedia along with their teaching skills to invoke interest for students in their studies. It helps the brain to absorb and retain information more easily.

Multimedia plays a vital role in the field of mass media i.e. in journalism and in various magazines or newspapers. It’s not only the text that we see in a newspaper, but also the photographs. It helps the newspaper to convey information to people in an easy way.

The use of multimedia in the gaming industry made it possible to make interactive games.
